ABOUT CRAIG

Having recently relocated to the southeastern corner of North Carolina, my lifelong passion for photography has reignited. It all began as a hobby, capturing special moments for friends and family. Over time, my skills and love for photography grew, leading me to pursue it semi-professionally. I passionately pursued wedding, portrait, and sports photography for more than 20 years while continuing to work a full-time job and raise a family.

After retiring from my first career in law enforcement, I took a break and spent the next 12 years in the entertainment industry in Nashville, Tennessee, as an entertainer coach driver. I had the privilege of touring all across the country and Canada numerous times. While touring, I discovered the extensive beauty that this land has to offer. Taking many photographs over the years, my passion never really died. It just went on an extended nationwide vacation.

Now that I'm living at the beach, I have found myself surrounded by a whole new kind of beauty. This change has sparked a new fire in me, reigniting my passion for capturing moments and preserving memories through my lens. There are numerous opportunities to capture beautiful images everywhere. What are our hours?: I work by appointment only. Please give me a call, preferably a week or two ahead of time so we can schedule a portrait session time that is convenient for both parties. Obviously, weather conditions play into the actual outdoor photo shoot. I always like to allow extra time / days in order to have the opportunity for a make-up date in the case of inclimate weather, hopefully to guarantee a complete portrait session. Where are you located?: Craig Caudill Photography is located primarily in Ocean Isle Beach, NC and also in the Greater Charleston, SC area. I do allow for travel to a destination of a client's choosing, within a 25 mile radius of either location. Mileage in excess of a 25 mile radius of either of these locations will be billed separately at a rate of .50 cents per mile.
Do you accept reservations?: If you already have a vacation date in mind or you have already made your summer vacation reservations, go ahead and give me a call so that I can guarantee you a photo session date that works for you and/or your family. Again, inclement weather can render a change in plans. Any changes made due to inclement weather or changes made within a two-week time period prior to the scheduled appointment will be made at no extra charge. Let's make it work.
What payment options do you accept?: We accept payment for our services in several forms. We accept cash payment, Zelle transfer, Cash App or Venmo. We DO NOT accept credit card payments at this time.
How long is the typical wait?: We work by appointment only. Generally, we like to make a reservation to book a date at least a week or more prior to your photo session. However, give us a call, even if it is a last minute booking. We will gladly work you in if we have the availability.

Once your photo session is complete, I generally like to have your photos posted onto our secure website within a 48-72 hour time frame. Depending on our work load, sometimes we can have them posted within the same day or within 24 hours of your photo shoot. Your photos are loaded onto our secure website and are password protected. We DO NOT give out your password to anyone else other than the contracted client. We leave the sharing to you.

Craig Caudill Photography does reserve the option to use a client’s photos on our website, Facebook or our Instagram page for advertising and promotions purposes. We will always contact a client and ask for permission and/or photo selections prior to posting any photos to another site.
Do you have a cancellation policy?: With the exception of inclement weather or a personal emergency, a cancellation within a 3-day period prior to your scheduled portrait session will result in a $75.00 cancellation penalty.
